Ford 2N

I purchased a 1943 Ford 2N off of Ebay in early 2002 with the intention of using it to mow my lawn. It came in running condition with an older John Deere 272 Grooming Mower attachment. While knocking a good 4 hours off of my mowing time, it also has provided me with an interesting project to work on as time permits.

Details concerning those projects can be found here.

For the obligatory photos of me and my tractor as it was when I got it home, see below.

Here I am looking happy as can be. The headlight is my personal tribute to Quasimodo.

This is a visual representation of what it sounds like when the PTO gears grind while engaging.

I ain't got time for this. I've got to mow my lawn.

I think everybody who sits on this needs to have at least one picture where they're wearing a straw hat.

...or two.

Ok, maybe just three.

The truck in the background provides a decent perspective on the size of this thing. I still can't believe we towed it home with the half-ton.

A photo taken of my good side. (My, what a green lawn you have!)

That headlight cracks me up.

This page is admittedly just another distraction on the internet, but at least it will prevent me from eating up bandwidth by emailing the pictures around.
